David Shamah likes to say that he was born into the family business—literally, a “bedroom with bags and boxes everywhere.”
From his first job sweeping the family warehouse at 15 to his first venture offering website-building classes at 20, to his first post-grad job as an underwear salesman (true story), David has always been an indefatigable entrepreneur who never shies away from a challenge. This attitude informs his role of creating the next generation of packaging that freshly interprets the company’s heritage while appealing to modern retailers and entrepreneurs.
David’s biggest source of inspiration is the sea, and he counts Crete, Israel, and South Street Seaport (where he got engaged) as his favorite places. When not at the office, David can be found grilling up a mean steak, playing with his three children, and going out on date nights with his lovely wife, Alice.
