Sustainability

Sustainability and remaining eco-friendly means different things to different people. The question is, how does sustainability play into your marketing? We can help your team make decisions around sustainability.

Here are some key areas where SUSTAINABILITY plays a roll:

  • Pre-production
  • Production
  • Shipment
  • In-store
  • Recyclable
  • Reusable

There are retailers who gauge decisions regarding sustainability around the consumer experience. If the consumer feels they are doing good, their goals are met.

Fair Trade

“Fair Trade is a trading partnership, based on dialogue, transparency and respect, that seeks greater equity in international trade. It contributes to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions to, and securing the rights of, marginalized producers and workers – especially in the South.” This is, in fact, a tangible contribution to the fight against poverty, climate change and the economic crisis. We at E2E comply with this standard across all products and companies we do business with.

FSC

There are different classifications of FSC and not all products which display FSC are 100% from FSC Forests. Know the difference. We work with the Forest Stewardship Council and offer paper certified by the FSC for all your packaging needs.

PC or PI Waste

Let us know you’re desired percentage and we’ll handle the rest. We work both forward with performance testing to accomplish your strength goals and second, we work with reverse engineers to ensure what you’re getting is true to its word!

Inks

We offer a variety of sustainable inks, including vegetable and soy-based inks. The inks we offer are all 100% compliant with the US Consumer Product Safety Act of 2008 and consistent with Model Toxics in Packaging Legislation, which regulates heavy metals in packaging.

EPI: 100% COMPOSTABLE PRODUCTS

Our commitment to sustainability extends to the development of 100% compostable products. Each of our paper bags meets the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standard D6400. By meeting this standard, we ensure that our inks and glues are safe for the environment and are compliant with many local carryout bag laws.
